Denied BetFred suggestion, giving barely used content already in the server a better use?

Suggestion: Placing the Hold'em Poker Table inside the Betfred building, as the only way regular players can gamble in the main map

How will this benefit the community: A lot of capital can get shaken up across all members on the server, and can serve as an interesting roleplay plot or experience that can freshen up anyone's roleplay. The NPC who manages the chips already spawns with the poker tables, so little to no map lag can be caused, as the mod which has this entity is already installed on the server too.

Sidenote: Please make sure to not limit the "small" bet either, as leaving it uncapped can let the players to choose how much they want to play. If not, please suggest something in this thread. For reference, small bet at the platinum area is 10,000 Chips, which is about £100,000. and that's pure high-roller kinda money.

Platinum area can still have its own poker table of course, its just that one in particular is the most dead table in the entire place, requiring a minimum of 2 people to start a game. This leads to no interest in playing it at all. Nobody hangs out in the plat area to play it, so if it also gets to be on the main map, it would actually be something of interest for everyone. as there would be way more people around. Plus it would be funny af to spectate

im mixed on this. adding this would mean platinum was sort of a waste of money as gambling was a perk of platinum area so adding that wouldn't make it very special. but at the same time something like this for normal players could be decent. really the only ways of making money is drug dealer job and theres only 4 slots or raiding bank / bp / post office / pd etc but really only people with custom jobs are successful with those.

The printers are absolute shit giving fuckall money and the battery runs out way way to fast meaning you cant go out and do stuff whilst its printing because it would run out and you wouldn't realise till you get back so you could of missed out on more money made. i think a new printer system would be nice. im sure theres a few on gmod store or workshop etc that management can test etc. or maybe some bit coin stuff. thats also decent if the config is set nicely.

All in all though something for non plat players would be nice. right now i have plat and barely use 'casino' or gambling area whatever you want to call it because its dull and really you lose more than you make so its pretty unbalanced unless you AFK at the slots with a macro which is no longer allowed.

+0 my only problem with it being is its always been an exclusive platinum perk and bookees don't usually have poker tables I dont think but yeah other than that good idea

I think that here would be the perfect place to put it, if it does get added. This way, it would be cool to have one side focus on the horses and the other kinda do a mix of both. A potential poker club set up would be awesome to do around this

This would add a lot of fun for the players that cannot gamble and cannot buy platinum. This would also benefit the community as a whole, because it would implement a new way for players to make money. Betfred is super cool, but when you only have the horses, it kind of says Betfred is lacking a whole lot. Some players cannot spend money on platinum, so they do not get access to the poker table in the platinum area, that makes that poker table dead, endless you already preplanned with other players to play poker. This way though, if there is a table at Betfred, I see normal players go there all the time, and I guarantee most of them would play poker if there was an option.

The issue with this is Whiplash is always using up the space in Betfred so can you not base there anymore? This would mean the only gambling NPC in the main map can be controlled and KOS signs put on top, would love to see more options in the game as the server is relatively dry of content compared to other similar servers. Plat didn't seem like a good purchase in the first place and more incentive would be needed to buy that in the first place to those who care even a little about their money
