Section B: Definitions and critical thinking:


2.1: Define RDM and provide two examples:

Random Death Match e.g.
RDM is when a player kills another player for no RP reason. e.g.

1)
Player A walks out of spawn then Player B starts shooting him/her for no reason.
2)
Player A tells Player B to shut his/her mouth then Player B proceeds to stab Player A for acceptable reason.

2.2: Define NLR and provide two examples:

New Life Rule e.g. Once you have died in a RP situation you cannot go back to that area for 5 minutes. e.g. So this means Player B cannot come back after death and act like he/her didnt just die.

2.3: Define FearRP and provide two examples:
FearRP is when you act different to than you would in real life e.g.

1)
Player A tells Player B to put up his hands as Player A has a gun pointed, but then Player B starts to pull out a glock then shoots you dead.
2)
Player A has Player B at gun point then Player B starts to run away.

2.4: What is homophobia and provide two examples:
Homophobia is when you are against same sex relationships.

1)
Player A calls out Player B for being a homosexual
2)
Player A Harasses Player B for being gay

2.5 What is racism and provide two examples:
Discrimination to any racial or ethnic groups.

Please answer the following questions as if you were a Trial-Mod:

2.6: William has adverted carjack and stolen an NHS members vehicle. Joe reports him for failing to advert carjack. What steps will you take to resolve this sit?

I would bring William to a quiet place and check server logs to check if William adverted "carjack" if he did not I would let him know that before you steal any vehicle please advert carjack, but you still cannot carjack NHS vehicles. I would then link him the rules then give a verbal warning for not adverting also carjack.

2.7: Joe has reported William for shooting at him for no reason. William states that he was not shooting for no reason, he adverted PD raid. William has killed 6 people. What steps will you take to resolve this sit?

For this sit I would have to check logs for confirmation if he is right then of course he has done nothing wrong, but if it is not on there he will get a heavy punishment as over 4 is counted as Mass RDM. May end up in a kick or a ban.



2.8: Joe (Drug dealer) has built a base on the sidewalk. William raids Joes base with no advert. Joe kills William. William gets a new gun and drives straight back and kills Joe and sells all his drugs. What steps will you take to resolve this sit?


I would bring William to a sit and check logs to actually check if he adverted if he didn't then I would warn him for failure to advert, NLR and RDM. Would then link William the rules and also tell Joe that he should not be building on the pavements.

2.9: William as a Commander in the Police is hosting a meeting he adverts “Pd meeting | Starting 5m | Important topics | No major crimes” Joe as a Jihad adverts bombing and ends up killing 10 people. What steps will you take to resolve this sit?

I would bring Joe to a sit first check logs to see if he had enough time to see the message in the chat box if he didn't I would then tell him he may of not meant to do that, but when that advert goes up no major crimes are supposed to happen, then possibly give a verbal.

Section C: Questions

3.1: Why should we choose you over other applicants?

I think that I deserve Staff more then others because yes I know I have not been around in a while, be gone ever since I left staff in 2019, but would check up on server now and again but when i heard your opening again thought i could get another chance. I can be an active member of the community in the long run and continuously showed improvement regarding RP and my knowledge about the server rules. I think even though I have just recently returned to the Riverside will benefit from my calmness and rational thinking which is reflected in my RP-Character as well. I would consider myself a temperate and reluctant person which will help during long sits and new players who need a lot of help to orientate themself while being on the server for the first time. In addition to that I think I can learn quite quickly and adapt to certain situation such as being a Staff Member.

3.2: If you were in a situation you did not know how to handle what would you do?

I would call a Staff Supervisor or just a rank above me.

3.3: Do you have previous experience staffing servers?

Yes, one experience on here. Got to Mod or senior and lots of other servers mostly managed.

3.4: List three strengths that you have that will help you staff:

Not being a dick, Active and create a good energy.

3.5: List three weaknesses that may affect you when you’re staff:

Real life situations other than that nothing.

3.6: Why do you want to be a staff member?

I would like to become staff because would really like Riverside to start back up with a bang! That means with out minges and trolls. I would be on everyday maybe 12 hrs a day. As I have all this time I would like to do something with it so I thought I would get back in to staffing.

In this application, for one question you have repeated similar answers, which contradict against providing 2 different examples however, from that this application is great.

I appreciate how you have formatted your application and the amount of effort and detail that has gone into it, however you have got at least one thing wrong or missed something in scenario questions 2.6, 2.8 and 2.9. Because of the high quality of the rest of your application I will give you two days to edit this application and chance just those scenario questions and I will re-evaluate your application then. You can use the rules to your full advantage.
