Suggestion: Nerf the pistol for PD
How will this benefit the community: It literally does more damage than some rifles & you just get 2 tapped

+1 majority of guns need their damage adjusted. Some are really overpowered and others are shite.

i'm for the nerf but once it is nerfed then it will be just as powerful if not weaker than the glock and at that point theres no point in the p99

then lower glock damage aswell lmao, pistols aren't supposed to be this strong

the glock does about 26 damage, if you have armour that blocks 60% of bullet damage if im not mistaken then per shot itonly does 10 damage to you. most rifles do 30-40 and are full auto. if you lose to a fight against someone with a pistol and you have a g36c or something thats your fault, its not a matter of the gun being overpowered

i think the p99 does about 32-36 damage, lets say 34, with armour it does about 14 damage to you assuming 60% dr, so thats about 8 shots to kill you. the glock takes ten. nerfing the p99 will remove its need entirely because the weapons are so similar

Thats not correct at all chief, even if u got armor a p99 still just eats u alive it doesn't take 8 shots lmao

i think at that point its probably a matter of jitterclicking and lowering the firerate, not the damage. if it doesn't 'feel' like 8 shots it doesnt necessarily mean that it isn't 8 shots. if its 'too op' reducing the firerate will allow it to still be somewhat useful while still lowering its dps

I feel that most PD guns need nerfing, such as the AR and the SRO gun (forgot the name).

I'm not saying it just because I lose gunfights to it, but when you're playing as a civ with full health and armour, to get killed in 2 shots by the AR15 it puts you off. Especially when we have to unload a good number of bullets into people with criminal weapons.

Obviously PD should have some sort of advantage over other jobs, but there is literally no point in doing a major crime if there are 3+ SCO online as chances are slim of you making it out.

The best outcome of this would be to lower the damage rates to make it fair / slightly better than the MK`18, as in my opinion, there is currently no skill in killing anyone with a cracked gun. A 50/50 is so much better, unless anyone can argue otherwise. +1

Agreed, I suggest we do this, as it would make it more fair.

Not everyone has the AR-15 though? Only the higher ups have it afaik.

Changed to 28 damage
