It’s much easier to just learn the years or look at handbook than to program the bot to add the years depending on the crime

I actually like the sound of this... Would make policing so much easier!

OR (idea on the fly) new role: CUSTODY OFFICER
I.E. every normal arrest only lasts a minute BUT the custody guy can arrest for longer if deemed necessary!

Actually I've decided I hate that idea bc it will make police salty that they can't arrest people for 10 minutes - clearly they enjoy ruining other people's experience playing.
