I’d bring both players into the sit and let William know he can’t harm or do crime against the NHS. I’d check logs and see the advert in chat and let Joe know he did in fact advert. I’d finish the sit by warning William for “Crimes against NHS” but not for FTA.
2.7: Joe has reported William for shooting at him for no reason. William states that he was not shooting for no reason, he adverted PD raid. William has killed 6 people. What steps will you take to resolve this sit? I’d bring them both to the sit and check logs quickly. Then since William has adverted PD raid I would explain that if Joe has walked into an ongoing raid or near it without assisting then he is “KOS”. I’d ask if they are both happy then return them without warning anyone.
2.8: Joe (Drug dealer) has built a base on the sidewalk. William raids Joes base with no advert. Joe kills William. William gets a new gun and drives straight back and kills Joe and sells all his drugs. What steps will you take to resolve this sit? After they are both in a sit I’d let Joe first off know that he can’t build on the pavement since he is not on the “hobo” job. Next after checking logs I would warn William for FTA & RDM. Although Joe hasn’t received a warn for building on the pavement, I would warn him for NLR since regardless of the rule breaks from William he has broken NLR by coming back after dying.
2.9: William as a Commander in the Police is hosting a meeting he adverts “Pd meeting | Starting 5m | Important topics | No major crimes” Joe as a Jihad adverts bombing and ends up killing 10 people. What steps will you take to resolve this sit? After both players are in a sit I’d hear both sides of the story and check the staff logs to see the PD Meeting advert. Since William has said the meeting starts in 5mins I would not warn Joe for RP’ing mid meeting. However, I’d check logs and chat too see the nature of his “bombing” and if it looks like an excuse for MRDM id ask a higherup for advice on the warns. If it’s all fine id return them both to the game.

3.1: Why should we choose you over other applicants? I have played around 700hours of Gmod solely on Riverside as that was my first and only server. I can guarantee at least for a while this number will only get bigger. I’m online and active most days.
3.2: If you were in a situation you did not know how to handle what would you do? I would contact a higher up staff member and ask for advice while I watch them handle the situation to learn for future.
3.3: Do you have previous experience staffing servers? Not on Gmod, but I have knowledge of moderation from previously co-owning a discord server with 13k+ people before it was closed for separate reasons.
3.4: List three strengths that you have that will help you staff: I am active daily. I have good patience when dealing with people. I am not a biased person regardless of how we have met previously.
3.5: List three weaknesses that may affect you when you’re staff: I may forget some obscure rules. I won’t be as active some days in the mornings due to Uni. Might need to learn all the commands if there are many.

I play regularly in early mornings GB times, and I find not a lot of staff on that late, if I was to become staff, I think the late night/early morning player base would enjoy the time more as we wouldn’t have random trolls RDMing or failing to advert raids due to them taking advantage of the lack of staff later. Id also like to staff since I’ve put a fair amount of time and money into the server and would like to help run it for other players now.
